Free 5-day mini-course
How reading actually clicks, one lesson a day
One full lesson a day — five minutes to read, five to play. By Friday you will know what your child needs next and what to do about it tonight.

What arrives, day by day
- Day 1 The simplest way to build a strong reader It is not flashcards. Before letters mean anything, a child has to hear that words are made of sounds — and that is a game, not a lesson.
- Day 2 Why sounds beat letters (at first) The single most useful thing a grown-up can change: say /b/, not "buh". Why it matters, and how to hear yourself doing it.
- Day 3 The 5-minute practice that sticks Short and daily wins, and the evidence says so. What those five minutes should actually contain.
- Day 4 Blending — where reading 'clicks' The moment sssuuunnn becomes sun — the ladder that gets a child there, and what to do when it stalls.
- Day 5 Keeping the momentum going A four-week plan you can actually keep, and how to tell real progress from one good night.

Written from the research, and it shows its work
Every lesson cites the studies it leans on, with the year, so you can check any claim we make instead of taking our word for it.

Five minutes to read, five to play
Each lesson ends with one thing to do that same evening, using nothing you have to buy, print or prepare.

Five lessons, then it stops
Day 1 to Day 5, then two short notes about what we make, and that is the whole course. One click unsubscribes at any point.

Questions parents ask
What actually arrives, and how often?
One lesson a day for five days, each a proper read of about five minutes with a five-minute game at the end. After Day 5 you get two short notes about Snappy itself, a few days apart, and then we stop.
What age is this for?
Parents of children roughly 3 to 7. Day 1 works even if your child does not know a single letter yet — it is about sounds, not print — and Day 4 is the one that matters most if your child knows letter sounds but cannot yet push them into a word.
Do I need to buy anything?
No. Nothing in the five days needs a worksheet, an app or a purchase. Every activity uses words your child already says out loud, and where paper genuinely helps we point you at the free printable packs.
I am a teacher, not a parent. Is it still useful?
Yes. The lessons are written for one adult and one child, so the activities are the ones that work at a table rather than with a class of thirty — but the sequence, the sources and the common stumbles are the same ones you are teaching around.
What do you do with my email address?
We send the five lessons, then the two notes, then nothing. We do not sell or share it, every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can read exactly what we keep in our privacy policy.
