What phonics skills does Snappy cover?

Snappy covers a comprehensive phonics curriculum across 66 levels: individual letter sounds (following SATPIN order), consonant blends (bl, cr, st), CVC words, long vowels, silent-e patterns, consonant digraphs (sh, ch, th, wh, ph, ng), vowel teams (oo, ou, ow, oi, oy), diphthongs, r-controlled vowels (ar, er, ir, or, ur), and advanced patterns including three-letter blends, soft c/g, suffixes, and silent letters. That is 782 words in total.

What happens when my child gets a sound wrong?

Nothing bad — and nothing that reads as failure. Snappy's Speech Ladder moves that sound down one rung and rebuilds it with more support: Dr. Snappy models it, your child echoes it, and the sound climbs back up. Failing never blocks the game, silence is never scored as wrong, and you can see every sound's step on the Sound Map in your Progress tab.
